While all of the traditional lawn care products we use are safe, a growing number of our customers are looking for options that involve non-synthetic fertilizers and which avoid the use of herbicides. Community Lawn Care has a healthy respect for modern technology, utilizing it to its fullest. But at the same time, we are constantly looking for new ways to employ more natural solutions to the problems of modern lawn care.

There is no ‘cookie cutter’ approach to organic lawn care. It will entail evaluating your property, your goals and your lawn care budget to develop the right plan for you.

Currently, our organic lawn care centers around  top-dressing and the use of corn gluten fertilizer. Our goal is to develop the most sustainable and economical organic/natural lawn care services possible.

NOTE: There is no weed control with organic lawn care. The goal is to make the soil and lawn as healthy as possible to help suppress weeds. With organic lawns, homeowners need to change their mindset of a completely weed free lawn as organic lawns have biodiversity. If weeds have overtaken your lawn, we may have to use a ‘hybrid’ approach and use chemical herbicides for a limited time to get weeds under control. It takes several years to convert a lawn to organic.
